Mr. Jaime Mendoza has proudly served in Irving ISD for more than a decade. Born in San Luis Potosí, Mexico, he moved to Irving with his family at the age of six. Inspired by the teachers who helped him learn English and supported his educational journey, Mr. Mendoza is honored to give back to the community where it all began by serving in the very district that shaped him. His mission is to ensure that every child has the same opportunity to succeed that he was given.
He is a proud product of Irving ISD, having attended John Haley Elementary, Lee Britain Elementary, Bowie Middle School, and graduating from Nimitz High School. Mr. Mendoza began his career in education as a classroom teacher at Townsell Elementary and Davis Elementary before moving into campus leadership. He has since served as an Assistant Principal at Brandenburg Elementary, de Zavala Middle School, and currently at Davis Elementary.
Mr. Mendoza earned his undergraduate degree and a Master of Education in Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Texas at Arlington.
